Portfolio Review
There are many steps necessary to create a financial plan that can fit your goals and needs. A portfolio review can help determine if you are working toward the goals you have set in place and discover any weaknesses that may be stopping you from pursuing your financial goals. The benefits of a portfolio review can include:
- Goal-driven asset allocation and investments
- Diversification to address potential risks
- Create a financial plan that suits your goals
- Suggest current asset allocation across various investments
Before we begin to create a plan, we may review your portfolio to assess your current asset allocation and investments.
Although we will review your portfolio, it is important that we also get a sense of who you are. We will discuss your lifestyle, goals and wants, and your risk tolerance. From there, we can analyze your current investments to see if they align with your lifestyle and risk tolerance. Depending on the strength of your portfolio, we can discuss assisting you with opening new accounts and repositioning your current assets. Using our Portfolio Review Tool, we can reposition your assets to address your financial needs and goals. The PRT is used during semi-annual and annual reviews to see how your portfolio is performing and if adjustments are needed.
There is no guarantee that a diversified portfolio will enhance overall returns or outperform a non-diversified portfolio. Diversification does not protect against market risk.
Asset allocation does not ensure a profit or protect against a loss.
All investing involves risk including the possible loss of principal. No strategy assures success or protects against loss.
