We are so fortunate to have accumulated wealth in this country. There are first world problems (like not going on my trip to France due to Covid), and there are third world problems like famine and homelessness.
Each December I donate to the Maryland Food Bank in lieu of sending out holiday cards because my donation will help feed a family. Throughout the year I give to various causes such as numerous animal shelters and clothing donations for businesswomen because I believe my donation can have an impact on those less fortunate.
During this holiday season, I would like to challenge you to think about donating to your favorite charity. It will not only help someone else, but it will also make you feel great.
